Why should I hire a professional organizer?


Getting organized can be overwhelming. We are here to guide you, motivate you, support you, and encourage you through this tough process. As a mom, I get it! Life can be crazy. The last thing you want to be doing in your downtime is organizing. We will work through your project together and come up with solutions that work for you in the most efficient way possible to save you time.




What do I do to prepare for my Simplifying Visit? Should I clean up before you come over?


Absolutely not! It is very important that we see your space as it currently exists. The good, the bad, and the ugly. We promise, no judgement! This allows me to more clearly identify what is working and not working within your space. Please have several empty boxes or bags available for sorting of your items.




What services do you offer?


We specialize in residential home organization services and household management strategies. We work with individuals who find themselves disorganized as a result of life transitions including moving, downsizing, loss of a loved one, combining households, and the addition of a child to name a few. We can help ease the chaos of life and develop efficient family routines, develop meal planning strategies, paper organization systems, and command centers. We also love to help clients unpack and create organized spaces following a move!




How long will my project take?


We will provide you with a general guideline, however each project is unique. You may want me there every step of the way or maybe you just need a game plan developed with regular check ins. The process is also largely dependent on how quickly you are able to make decisions about the things you want to keep. Remember that you are always in complete control of the extent to which we declutter and organize.




Will you dispose of the things that I decide I don’t want to keep?


Yes! We will dispose of one carload of items for you. We will even email you a copy of the receipt for your records! Please note furniture and heavy items are excluded.




I am getting ready to list my home with a realtor. How can you help?


Decluttering prior to listing a home on the market may significantly increase the purchase price of a home and may decrease the time that your home is on the market.
How is this possible? Through decluttering, home values increase as homes appear well maintained. A decluttered environment provides less distractions to potential buyers as they can easily picture their own belongings in your home. Rooms feel larger and more open, and it is much easier to clean prior to a last minute showing.




What is your cancellation policy?


Kindly give 48 hours notice. Cancellations without proper notice will be subject to forfeiture of booking deposit.




What are your hours?


We are available when you are available. We offer flexible hours to meet your needs and accommodate your busy schedule.




Do you offer virtual services?


Yes. Especially given the current uncertainty of life this year, we are happy to offer virtual services. We work in one hour increments to guide you through the decluttering process just like we were right there beside you. This is a great option for those who are short on time but need the one on one guidance of the professional organizer.




I am really busy or I have health concerns that limit my stamina. Do I need to work beside you the entire time?


We specialize in orgaization services for busy lives. So we leave the option completely up to you. We are happy to work side by side with you or we are able to work our magic and ask you questions as needed.




What areas do you serve?


We primarily serve the greater Stark County region in Northeast Ohio. Travel of up to 60’ round trip, from our office is included in our rate. Beyond this, the hourly fee applies. Virtual organizing is a great option if you are interested in our services, but aren’t here in town.




I am really nervous about hiring a professional organizer. Are you going to make me get rid of everything?


Take a deep breath! We are here to help, not judge. Don't worry, we have seen it all. Rest assured we hold ourselves to the highest standards of professionalism and will maintain confidentiality in our services. You are always in complete control of to the extent to which we declutter. We will not force you to get rid of anything that you are not ready to part with.




Will I have to buy expensive organizing products?


Again, you are in control. We will make product recommendations of items that may help you to make your vision a reality, however we are happy to work with the things you already own.




Do you offer gift certificates?


Yes! A gift certificate for our services is the ultimate clutter free gift and is perfect for the holidays, baby showers and house warming gifts.
